  • Players work on all the basic skills necessary to become a complete hockey player
  • Participants should complete our hockey learn to skate program prior to taking Tykes On Ice.

  • Body Contact (Bantam Level and up)
    • Winning corner battles and along the boards
    • Closing the gap and angling the opposition
    • Impact hits/taking a hit
    • Body, hip, shoulder, and poke checks
    • Forechecking/backchecking

Power Skating and Agility
  • Designed to improve each participant’s balance, agility, and overall skating ability
  • This program will also increase each skater’s speed and strengthen as well as condition each student
  • 7 or 8 week curriculum (depends on session) covers every aspect of skating from the most rudimentary of skating drills to the most advanced
